 The World's Biggest Ice Cream Cake

When ice cream franchise Carvel (USA) celebrated their 70th birthday they built the world's largest ice cream cake. The ice cream cake weighed over 5 tonnes (5486 kilograms) and took 75 minutes and 54 people to assemble. The gigantic cake was 5.79 meters long, 2.74 meters wide and 60 centimetres high.

In order to achieve this amazing feat, the team at Carvel created ice cream sheet cakes at a temperature of -84 degrees Celsius and maintained them in a freezer truck at -30 (minus 30) degrees Celsius.
